Question engine question

i have a have a caddilac with 425 in it i was wondering the 425 would fit into a mustang like a 67 fastback or a 68 coupe because im wanting to put the 425 into a lighter body and i was also wonderin if it would fit into a 67 charger any info will be extremely appreciated

Simply put, you can make anything fit. But, do you really want to? The parts to build up a Caddie are much more than more common engines ( limited # = $$$). It is a great torque engine (not like the 472 or 500, but strong) and would make a great truck engine, maybe you could swap someone for an engine that's more parts "wealthy". You'd also have an expensive reapir/search if you lunched something. If you still want to continue, I'd stay with a lighter general motors car, Nova, Chevelle ( I've seen one in one of these, although it may have been a 472/500, they are dimensionally the same),Pontiac Lemans, etc. By stay with a GM product you would lessen some of the struggle, since they use some common components (trans mounts for instance).
