Engine rebuild for a 360 ci 2bbl 100,000 miles

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the average price id be looking at to do a rebuild on a 360 out of a 72 ford ranger xlt...? nothing too extravagant, just the basics. maybe a new cam and pistons if needed. bored .030 over, and replace the old pumps and gaskets... i rebuilt the 289 outta my mustang and that ran me close to $1000 but that had alot more into it (headers, racing cam, etc) the motor in my ranger has a leaking core/frost plug that empties my coolant pretty quickly, and thats the only reason im thinking about pullin the motor and getting into it... i know theres an endless amount of money i could spend on it, but if anyone knows the price id be lookin at for something moderate itd really help! thanks!

My good friend just got 3 bids on rebuilding his 289 with basically all stock components and they came in btw $1100-$1300 that price includes disassembly, hot tanking, machine work (no magnaflux) new bottom end kit (minus crank and rods) heads rebuilt, and reassembly.

Price assumes the crank can be turned if needed and that the rods are reusable.
