Question engine rebuild

Ok my 390 block is at the machine shop getting checked and bored. should i also have my crank and rods reconditioned? what other things should i have done at a machine shop while its tore down? should i go with a multi angle valve job or is the cost really worth it? im not building a race car but i dont want to be kicking myself because i didnt have something done that i wish i had. thanks

If the crank is clean and not scored...have it micropolished and leave it standard size.

Have the rods resized with new quality bolts.

Most valve jobs are already 3 angle, if you want something special get 5 angle...the difference in performance will be negligable unless your running at the ragged edge. If your handy with a grinder pocket port the valve bowls, don't polish.

If the block is straight then leave it but have the cylinders bored and honed.

That's pretty much it?
