Engine sitting to high
Put a big block in a 67 camaro an it appears at least to me it's sitting too high I'm not sure if a 6" cowl will work. It has a edelbrock rpm air gap two four intake
Does anyone have an idea about this. My 68 with big block an victor jr don't stick up like this.

If you used small block frame mounts. The engine will set too high.
Big block 68-72 Camaro/Nova frame mounts are an inch lower and offset to the left.

Sitting too high
Well we bought bbc frame mounts I wonder if they gave us wrong ones. Is there a way to tell by looking

Cut the hood and let it show. That's what a hot rod is all about. If you hid it then build it as a sleeper.

BBC mounts are physically wider/shorter than the small block ones and require a different engine mount pad. Also they are offset to the right. Passenger side, not the left.

Engine sitting to high
Here is a wesite for the engine frame mounts on 67-69 Camaros. It lists measurements of the frame mounts and engine mounts. You should be able to tell which mounts you have using this info. http://www.pozziracing.com/camaro_engine.htm
