Now, before the lecturing begings, I already got it from the guys in the rearend and tranny department. I'm dropping a 69 460 into a 80 mustang. Yes, I know it's a deathtrap, but it's not an everyday, driver. It's my first, let say drag car, and I would like it to go kind of smooth. I don't have a lot of money, so it's not going to be all fabricated and fancy, just brute force, hopefully. I know they have direct swap kits for this kind of swap, they have the 429/460 engine swap headers in jegs and summit, so I know there are a few crazy people out there like me. I need to find the stands/towers for this motor. Can anyone direct me where to look or how much they would cost? Also, does anyone out there know if I will have to do any cutting in the engine compartment to accomoday this motor with headers and a C6. I know they make a 79 stang with a 429 and headers from the factory with ram air, they also used this as a pace car. So it should fit, however, tightly. I should also be able to find engine stands/towers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Billybob

l&l products out of texas makes all kinds of that stuff. seems to be all trucks and broncos.
but they may have just what you are looking for.
uhhhh... i found them on the web, and got some motor mounts to put a 460 into a 77 f-150 they worked great. hope this helps ya.
