I Have A Bbc Blower Motor.what Is Happing Is When I Start It, It Fires Right Up But Dies Two Seconds Later.what Would Make This Happen.getting Gas. With A Blower Is There Something I Am Doing Wrong?

If you pump the gas does it continue to run on the accelerator pump?

is this an intermittant problem? Did you just rewire the car? Do you loose ignition when it dies ?

Last Week It Ran.i Had The Whole Car Rewired A Few Months Ago.drove It On The Trailer.this Problem Comes And Goes.had A Hyfire Ignition Box Installed When The Car Got Rewired.i Know I Am Getting Fuel,i Have Zommie Pipes On The Engine And Can See Gas When I Pump It Too Much.

what kind of fuel pump you have?

Its A Holley Electric Pump

what psi do you have the regulator set at?

I dont know the psi.Can you test a fuel pump with out disconneting the fuel line. I picture gas all over the place.

With where you're at right now, you're going to have to start eliminating problems before you can solve this situation. I'd double check the ignition system first since you can do a number of the checks without the engine running. Go through all of your connections, and especially your grounds to make sure you're getting spark to the plugs. Once you've done this, then it's either going to be timing or fuel. If the problem persists after checking over your ignition system mark where your distributor currently is set with a marker and then try to start the engine with it advanced or retarded a few degrees. If still no joy, now look at your carburetors. They either putting in too much fuel or not enough. Try starting the engine, when it goes to stall press on the accelerator pump arms without opening the throttle. This will add fuel without adding air. If the engine trys to run richen up your idle circuit if it dies immediately try leaning it out. What carburetors are you working with?

I have two holley 750s on top of the blower.
