engine swap, 1957 ford pu

the truck has a 223 6cylinder , with 3 on the tree.i have a 1967 289 ,to use but want to keep the 3 speed. will it bolt up with the bell houseing from the 223 6 cylinder thanks Dave

Hi,
The small block 289 bell has 6 bolts to the engine
six cyls some have 4 bolts you need the 6
bolt one for the six cyl trans bell for the 289 to work.
