Engine swap

Bought a 1958 chevy delray with no motor or trans .I want to put a 350 chevy engine in it but im not sure about what motor or trans mounts i would need . Cars been in my garage for 10 years now .Tired of just looking at it. I really just wanna drive this thing lol.Any help is highly appreciated

6 or 8 ?

I don't know if frame brackets were different for 6 or v8 I don't know the years but older chevies had front mounts on the engine then mounts on the belhousing, It all depends on what you are putting in . later V 8's have mounts mid on each side of the engine and a mount on the tailhousing of the trans.

well after sitting for 10 years let alone it is 55 years old i would be looking at everything . not just stuffing a 350 in her.

Imagine this with a W motor in it. Classic, the year it all started with the 348, but you do a 409 or 427 to the unaided eye they look like a 348 from the outside.

Yes, as has been stated the 58 mounts everything differently than today.
