Engine Swap 350 to 454

I am trying to do a swap from a Chevy 350 to a Chevy 454 in a 1968 Corvette. I was wondering if it is worth doing and what actually matches up. Like Does the bell housing match at the tranny and engine? Do the engine mounts work the same etc. Thank you for your help

yes I would make the swap--there is no substitue for cubic inches, and the car would be more streetable than a warmed small block---everything bolts up, IE; bell housing, motor mounts, ETC.....as it is all Chevrolet---but with a small block better handling---with a big block, more brute torque.

As for what it takes to do, I am not sure, but for the motor, I would try to find a motor with a set of 049 or 781 heads. If you got new 2.19 1.88 valves installed and use a nice street cam, you could easily reach 450 hp and 500 + ft lbs.
