engine swap help
im really puzzled and new to fixin up cars.any way my question is.
I have a 76 pontiac grand prix with a bad body but a great engine and trans im looking to swap the both to a better and lighter body the motor is a400 and the trans is a th400 I was hoping some one has done somthing like this before that might give me a idea on what to put this set up in that does not require much modification thanks to any one that might help |

Go with a Pontiac Astre. Just kidding, that would be a tight squeeze. An 80s grand prix or cutlass or 70s firebird would be inexpensize and simple.

Or if you want to do something a little different, see if you can find a 71-72 Ventura. 72's were available with Pontiac 350's which are externally identical to the 400 & 455. The subframe is the same as the 67-69 Firebirds.
