engine swap help

im really puzzled and new to fixin up cars.any way my question is.
I have a 76 pontiac grand prix with a bad body but a great engine and trans im looking to swap the both to a better and lighter body
the motor is a400 and the trans is a th400 I was hoping some one has done somthing like this before that might give me a idea
on what to put this set up in that does not require much modification thanks to any one that might help

what are you looking for something alog the same body type or a newer body or what?? be more specific??

Go with a Pontiac Astre. Just kidding, that would be a tight squeeze. An 80s grand prix or cutlass or 70s firebird would be inexpensize and simple.

Or if you want to do something a little different, see if you can find a 71-72 Ventura. 72's were available with Pontiac 350's which are externally identical to the 400 & 455. The subframe is the same as the 67-69 Firebirds.
