I'm new here so first let me say Hi! I have a 1959 Ford Custom 300 with a 223 six and a 3 speed. I'm swapping in a 1993 302 HO and 5 speed, now for the question, what motor mounts do I use? I read where others on here have done this swap but they never mention what mounts they used. Can someone please help me out? The wiring is already more fun than a root canal, I just want to have the swap go easier! BTW, I already know that a 292 or 312 would be a more " traditional" swap, but I don't have either, can't find either, and I really like electronic fuel injection! Thanks in advance!

An FE 332 or 352 were also 1959 options. And one couldn't tell by looking whether your FE was a 390, 406, 427, or 428. OK maybe a crossbolt 406 or 427 would be visible to someone on a creeper. I think you'll find the FE far better suited to moving a 2 ton monster like the 59 Custom. These are bolt in with period parts.
