I have a 1952 Willys Aero Coupe in great condition and I would like to install a 392 Hemi with suspension upgrades. I have never seen a car like this made into a hot rod and any info that can help will be appreciated. Contact HarleyMichael
It's a unibody design (no frame), so it would require considerable work to build a frame and cage into it to hold the weight and power of a hemi. If you have a fully-equipped shop with all the tools, chassis jig and a rotisserie and the knowledge of how to do it, go for it.
There are a number of hot rodded Aeros. Do a search on Ed Snell. His was written up in Hot Rod magazine.
