Engine Swap, What do I need to Look for?

My 340 went on me in my 71 plymouth gtx. I am looking to swap it out with a 440. I have found some good deals but am not sure on what years will work as far as mounting points. Can anyone help me on this, or is there a way to customize engine mounts so any year will work?

Don't quote me on this, but I understand that the "K" member must be changed to go from a small block to a big block.

I think the main difference in 440's were the heads, comp, cam, ect...
I think the blocks are all the same other than that. HG

sry Hemi, small blocks (LA) motors were different from B and RB series motors. LA were the 273-360 motors and the B were the 383 and 400 blocks. The RB (raised block) motors are the 426 and 440 mills. The 413 was also considered a raised block design as well as the early, late 50's 383 (the wedge motors).
