Angry Engine,Tranny and rearend alienment

I am making a 69 Dodge wheelstander with only one ujoint between the tranny and rearend which I was told cant be done but I had a vehicle set up this way many years ago so I know it will work but I dont know how to figure the angles to get the right angle so not to tear out the ujoint. Any help would be appriciated since I am to the point of making the motor and tranny mounts, also the motor ,tranny and rearend are mounted in there own subframe and move together. Thanks Larry

Wink

Here is a really technical paper on universal joint applications and selection, considering torque, rpm, usage, etc. May be some help.

Cool

Yes it can be done. If you can find it in an old Street Rodder Magazine, Tom McMullen built a rear engine Dodge Pickup(the Econoline style) with a subframe like this. They ran articles on it for several months. I think it was the late 70's.
