Engine & Transmission Mounts

Hi, and thanks for your welcome. I have a 1955 ford customeline. I also have a 460 cu. in. motor that I would like to drop in it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what motor mounts to use. I was also told I could use the original transmission mount. Just turn it around. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And thanks again for the opportunity to get some information.

As a moderator, I would like to WELCOME YOU to Hotrodders.com

I have no useful info on your engine swap.......but I have also heard about swapping the stock mounts around and making them work. I was going to do a 57 Ford 2 door 429 engine swap for a customer a few years back but never got the job....he lost the 57 in a Divorce...so I lost the job....

-GEARHEAD'S SWAP KITS-

This is a nice setup. They should have the transmission mount also.
