Engine vibration at around 2000 rpm

Hello I have a 2.8L engine in an s-10 with the 5 speed and it makes a vibration at around 2k moving or not. I heard that cheap motor or transmission mounts can cause this........I have replaced the transmission mount and I think this might be the cause of the problem. How does one tell where the vibration is coming from? If it is the mount...........then where would I go to get a new one that will dampen the vibration?.........this truck didnt always do this. I just replace the mount when I was replacing the crossmember cause the old one was aluminum and bent, so naturally I just replaced the mount. I am not sure where chevy actually had their mounts made, but the old one says made in korea and the new one is made in .....ohhell one of those foreign companies ........india, indonesia, italy, whatever.................the gm dealer wants 63 dollars for a new mount.......lol, aftermarket crap ones are less than 25 dollars

start the truck and have a friend hold down the gas till it starts vibrating then go around the truck looking for the source of the sound.
