Epoxy-Filler-epoxy-2k primer-right?

I've gone to bare metal, epoxyed, filled, epoxyed and sanded with 180.two small spots went through to bare metal.Do I need to epoxy again or can I go on to 2k primer now? All SPI products..

Personally I would touch up the bare spots with epoxy before continuing. If you don't you would probably never see the difference but the epoxy is the moisture barrrier to protect the metal if the top coat gets chipped.
Touching up is cheap insurance.

I agree with Hemi, if this is a job you want to last forever I would definately spot in the bare metal with epoxy before your surfacer. Generally if you have bare metal showing the size of a quarter or less you can rest assured that the urethane surfacer will have enough adhesion to bridge these areas but they will always be the weak link in the job. For the best insurance and the small amount of work it takes I would spot some epoxy on that bare metal.
