Non sanding primers would be classified as the following.
Acid etch Epoxy Sealers These products do not have to be sanded before applying the next coat. Sealers in the 2K urethane versions are a lot like 2K primers but are thinner in viscosity and have a very tight resin for adhesion, unlike most 2K primers. In the case of epoxy, it does not need to be sanded if painted inside its open-coat window but can be if needed. Some epoxies sand good some not so good. |
