epoxy primering tempature?

when the weather gets warm enough im going to shoot some epoxy primer onto my car.

i got some dupont epoxy primer and mid temp activator. what tempature can i use this in?

im going to primer my car 1 pannel at a time because my air compressor is fairly small. the gun is a HLVP gravity feed. what kind of overspray would i get? should i be covering the walls and floor of the garage?

Your product user instruction sheet will tell you the proper way to use the product. Follow their directions closely. Yes you will need to cover anything that you don't want over-spray on. HVLP reduces over-spray, it doesn't eliminate it.

Yes, your supplier can furnish a comprehensive product form. Hard fiberglass parts paint very nicely with epoxy primer. Check with your paint supplier for the primers and color additives that you need for the flexible plastic parts. All paint brands have systems for painting those things.

re: epoxy primering tempature?

With any epoxy and cold weather the most important thing is METAL temperature. for safely sake make sure around 60 degrees and remember the metal temp will be 5-10 degrees colder than the outside air. Make sure the temp maintains 60 degrees or higher for the first four hours after you spray it.
So don't spray at 6:00 with temp at 65 and its going to drop down as sun goes down. If in doubt, wait till it warms up.

Epoxy will work great over fiberglass or SMC.

Also over flexible bumpers. Exception is raw bumpers (no paint)
some like TPO, TEO, polypropylene etc, need an adhesion promoter sprayed first.
