epoxy on steel frame

I was wondering is there different kinds of epoxy primers to paint on your frame? If theer is which one is the best and where do you get them at?

I think most all epoxy primers are similar, but different. I personally use SPI products and have had real good results, and they have the best customer service in the business, bar none. I have heard that some are sensitive to thinners, but don't know which ones they are. I know that once the SPI cures, it is "rock solid".

I switched to SPI after paying good money for some brand name PPG DPLF primer. That stuff is pure garbage and IMO should not even be considered epoxy as it it will wipe off with lacquer thinner after it has cured.

Vince..... I am guessing that you are talking about the PPG being the garbage, right?
