A Crane Cam such as #H-272-2 pn113941 or H-278-2 pn 113801 will do the same job, probabily better. These "HMV" design series hyd cams are designed to work well on the street and marine performance applications, make very good power and torque but run quiet with reliability. Either, will do what you're trying to achieve, very well.
Many jobbers carry these grinds. Any jobber can get them.
Also available as "cam and lifter sets" with a warranty. To order as a cam+ lifter set just change the last 1 to a 2 in the part number of the grind you want.

A equivelent Isky cam is another good choice. Isky stuff is known for its high quality, stable running lobe designs and reliability. Isky hyd cam #201271/281-12 270/280Mega hyd is equivilent to your Erson choice.

The majority of the popular cam grinders today were students of and or employees of Harvey Crane or Ed Iskenderian. Including Sig Erson, the origional owner of Erson cams.
If you're looking for a "reliable" performance cam design, look to one of these Cam Companies first. They wrote the book.

not long ago when it was Erson (and Mallory)....Summit Racing stocked all the Erson cams (for many many years)

now that it is "MR. GASKET" Erson.....Erson is not even listed in the Summit "search" box....

to me....just that info...."raises a yellow flag".....Summit dropped "Mr Gasket-Erson" for some good reason.....

I would call and ask Summit "why" before buying another Erson cam....
