ethanol in fuel and pump diaphragms

Would it be a good idea to replace my rubber pump diaphragm's on my Holley with their green diaphragm's,due to the ethanol in gas, which are designed for alcohol based fuels? This is on a vehicle that sees maybe 2-3000 miles a year.

I bought a 1970 Chevy PU from about 1975 and rebuilt everything that year. I didn't have any problems till they added alcohol to fuel. The only thing that went bad on my 70 chevy PU with a 350 engine was my carb. The alcohol messed up the rubber parts and it flat stopped working when I was in town one day. It happened pretty fast too. I changed carbs to an Edelbrock and never had the problem again. I never had to replace the fuel pump or anything else and drove it for many years till the engine wore out and started smoking. Most all parts with rubber were upgraded to be resistant to alcohol in fuel after alcohol was added to fuel.
