I thought I have seen everything.... last night I was opening a bottle of apple juice and it said concentrate made in China, bottled in USA. What is going on, is everything made in China. Is my Mc Donalds going to be made in China the next time I go there. It started with cheap Chinese tools and now it is Chinese Apple Juice, what will be next???

I don't know how much folks here pay attention to emerging markets and economic vectors- but China is basically going through thier modernazation phase/ industrial revolution.

The price saving craze by the American consumer has pretty much broke the back of textile and low end good manufactoring- doubtfull it will ever recover.

Anyone that *****es about the US companies moving overseas has no one to blame but your average American consumer that favors cheap disposable items vs something made to last.

If Mc Donalds starts importing Chinabugers then it will just be time before the other start doing the same thing. Just think of all of the possibilities Chinese Tacos, Chinese Pizza, Doritos made from rice and imported from China. Budweiser and Coors could make beer from rice in China and import it here. It is just a matter of time before everything is made there.

You guys should go rent the movie/documentary Super Size Me. It's the one where the guy eats McDonalds for 30 days, it was amazing what happened to the guys body/blood work results ect. It's also about how McDonalds and other companies target children. Lots of interesting info about how fat our country is.

Not everything is made in China!

Check out the serpentine belt pulleys and brackets I just got for my upcoming TPI swap into my 94' Suburban. These are for a 3rd Gen. Camaro/Firebird application and spread the AC compressor and alt. to accomodate the throttle body.



Now, my wife had to get out the smelling salts and help me up off the floor when I saw the following stickers:



What kind of premium did I pay for those stickers? The set was $385 from Street & Performance.

I plan on documenting the entire swap with pictures, etc. and will add a page to my website. Hopefully everything will go nice and smooth. Yeah right, keep dreaming Ed (lol). My goal is to have the swap done before new years.
