Excessive heat in the tunnel and floorboards
I wanted to let folks know of a product which has been out on the market for a few years which has solved a number of heat and noise related issues for Hot rod builders and other restorers.
ZeroClearance is a thick foil with fiberglass insulation and an adhesive backing. This product is actually used by the OEMS underbody to reduce heat transfer into the passenger compartment. The website where it can be resarched and purchased is www.coolandquiet.com This product is great for exterior use as it does not absorb water and is only 1/8" thick. It can be cut to shape with tin snips and bonds instantly by removing the backing sheet and pressing onto the firewall, floorboards, doghouse or anywhere where the heat can be trasferred. Well that is my story Thanks, |

re: Excessive heat in the tunnel and floorboards
Welcome to the board Gregg. I don't want to sound contentious, by all means none intended, but you need to know we don't allow advertising on the bulletin board. You can advertise in the classifieds section above. Again, if you are just passing along info, great but if this is your company, this is an improper post. A product pitch raises warning signs when it is a first post by a newbie.
Also, this forum is for intros only, this thread would get better exposure in the Body - Exterior forum. |

Thank You for the heads up.
ZeroCLearance is patented and manufactured by Lydall Manning. I do not work for them. I do have access to the material.
The product has resolved many problems for Hot rod builders and racers. I was passing along a tip . Thanks Gregg |

Great! Thanx. No offense, but we have been burned so many times by trolls we are over cautious.
