First what flow masters do you have? Then what size pipe? and finally do you have headers?

I have the 30s flowmasters and they are really nice sound not extrmemly loud off the gas but on it they become very loud. Friend of mine has the 40 and those sound really nice too. I don't know about you but I do like to stick with a muscle car sound even if it is not the loudest thing out there. Another thing to think about is that if you drive the car alot putting really loud mufflers on may have a very loud sound INSIDE the car too and become rather annoying.

I had Glass packs on my car, very loud!!! then went to Flowmaster Super 40 I also found them loud but not as loud and got rid of the raspyness of the glass packs and gave it a deeper sound. Thats just my opinion tho

Cherry bomb glass packs bolted directly to the headers, no tailpipe extensions. Had many complaints from neighbors. Next best thing to open headers!
