Exhaust

I just got these FLOWTECH Headers for my 318 Dodge D-150 I really don't know what I should do about the rest of the exhaust. I'm planning on doing a dual exhaust but see the thing is should I run a straight pipe or should I mufflers on it. I don't want it loud enough that can get pulled over or anything like that but I want it to be loud.

Exhaust opinon

1977Dodgedude...How loud is loud? If you are wanting to do it on the cheap and be loud...My favorite is STILL the old glasspack ! My personal opinion here is the Dynomax-Thrush glasspack. Summit and Jegs has them for about $20 locally at the Advance Auto Store they are $27, your choice. The inside is just perf stock. Nothing to slow the flow. Cherry Bombs have louvers and as minimal as it would be they most likely slow flow a little...very little. I looked at both as I ran Cherrys in the late 70s and now run Dynomax Super Turbos so I was torn with loyalty issues. The Thrush Glasspack has nicer welds though. Both are available up to 3".
