Exhaust cut outs

I cut off my exhaust to rebuild my diff I really like the sound of my engin especially with the new cam but just not for very long.
So I am looking at exhaust cutouts I want to know if they leak?

You could use cable operated cutouts before the mufflers and tie them in with a pipe behind the muffler, that way even if they leak a little it wont sound like it.

The best ones (electric) aren't cheap, the wing nut style are reasonably priced. The cheap ones made of cast iron & cable operated are crap and leak. JCWhitney used to sell them for $15 now there more like $50.
