Exhaust ideas

I'm puttin exhaust on my truck and I'm wondering if I should put true duals or the H pipe with thrush glasspacks? Any ideas I could consider or opinions. I'm also putting Electric cutouts on it.

Have your cake and eat it too. Go with the H-pipe and put the cutouts before the crossover.

What would you reccomend for the muffler, I'm looking for something relatively cheap but sound great, my 454 is cammed and I heard this other 454 with thrush glasspacks and it sounded good. But I'm not definite on that decision.

I'm not the biggest fan of glasspacks, but I understand the appeal. My dad loves them (his generation, not mine) Best I can do is suggest searching for videos of people with 454's on youtube showing off their exhaust and see what sounds best.

I prefer Turbo mufflers as far as sound goes.

thrush welded mufflers sound great and are cheap, the H pipe is good for undersized exhausts or eliminating drone, that's about it.

Isn't thrush illegal in some states? But I love the thrush welded or cherrybomb glasspack , but the cutouts will be for racing. Btw could you tell me what dead heads are?

I'm running the Thrush and they sound great, but I don't have the "H" joining them and have no idea as to whether it would make a difference in sound or performance.

biggest difference is in interior resonance. an H pipe lowers it.
