Exhaust Manifolds

What are considered to be some of the best stock exhaust manifolds chevy made. I race a street stock and rules only allow for a stock cast iron exhaust manifold. What stock exhaust flow the best and would fit to either 441 or 487X heads. Also what type of car/truck could I find these exhausts on? That way I could head to a junkyard and maybe pull them off a car.
Thanks

the best were the rams horns, they had center dumps, they came along in the early 60s and were used into the 70s, as for what they came on, they came on many Chevy cars and trucks, from corvettes to pulpwood trucks.

As DV said, the rams' horns are considered the best breathers. Get the 2 1/2" style. They say they are close to headers. I know they woke my '67.

Oh I shoulda added the full rules

Stock cast iron exhaust manifolds allowed. No center-dump manifolds allowed on Chevrolet. Casting numbers also not allowed are 10168496, 10168494 and 12524289. Stock replacement exhaust manifolds allowed for cast iron stock manifolds currently allowed by rules. No other after-market or reworked manifolds allowed. No headers allowed

So those Ram center-dump manifolds would be illegal. Someone told me the LT1s off 93-97 Camaro flow real nice but I don't think they fit my heads. So back to the drawing board, any other ideas?

Yes I am running a SBC, 350, mostly stock, right now I have 441 heads, next year I plan to build a new motor w/ 487X heads. I have a set of exhaust like the one in the link chevrolet4x4s posted. They had a stud stuck in each and broke when I tried to get them out, one of the instructors at the tech school I go to used to be a inspector at a track I race, he said I'm better off getting a different set, some that flow better w/ a bigger outlet. My cousin said some that came off some sort of a van, or Z71, not sure if they're legal. Would those 80s-90s p/u exhaust flow nice?

See I'm trying to gather the best parts I can get, that rules will allow, I know 487X heads are hard to beat and 055 intakes flow the best and I know there is some stock crank that's supposed to be real good, not sure what number that one is.

So is there any special model or year in particular I should be looking for or are most chevy truck exhaust flowing the same? For instance Z71 flow better?
