Post Exhausting the Possibilties

How much change in carburation(jetting) should be expected when uncapping the collectors? It seems that my engine idles better and is much more responsive(to changes in throttle angle)when opening the collecters. Also, I'm trying to build a dual pipes setup for my third generation camaro and I'm not having any luck finding info. All of my local exhaust fabricaters won't do the work because of our states MVI inspection(Although it does not reqiure Tailpipe Sniffing)not that I'm really trusting any of them to do a good job anyway. My last custom work turned out very poor and completely unsatisfactory. Especially for a clean street ride. Any sense of direction is extremely appreciated!

Go to all the exhuast companys websites(hooker,dynomax,walker,flowmaster,etc..) and see what they got I'm sure thers somethin out there.I found a non-smog setup for my car.As far as making one your self unless you have a bender I wouldn,t.Another option is to take the car to a small local garage and ask them to build you a exhuast but with no reciept or warrentie.The EPA won't let any garage make an exhuast other than stock for any car with a catalytic tree hugger satisfyier.
