Exhuast suggestions for 69 Nova
I have a 69 Nova, 350in/700r4 combo, that has hedman shorty hedders with a 3in collector to a 2.5in pipe. RIght now I have tru dual exhuast that runs into 40 series flows with turndowns right before the axle. I'm looking into trying to run the exhuast all the way out the back or side. I am really trying to figure out how to make a Nascar style exhuast with wide oval tips exiting out the sides right infront of the rear tires, but thought I would have clearence issues. Anyone have experience with exhuast on a Nova? I'm tryin to figure out a new way to run the pipes, but am stumped. Anyone have suggestions or pics to see how it's been done?

I just bought a flowmaster system for my 71. Its a transverse mounted muffler. Check it out on Jegs website. They show it there.

I have something similar.....
on a 69 Torino GT...the exhaust dumps in front of the rear wheels and turn's down...I had the muffler shop custom bend and install it. $50 bucks a side installed with hangers.
