[low budget rodder]

I'm looking for GM's original equipment Exide Battery Wood Crate dimensions, hardware, glass jars / dimensions, etc.

I have an old car but I would like to house a modern battery in the wood crate to help recreate "the look" of what was there. maintenance of the old batteries just suck, so I would like to be able to buy off the shelf.

Also, anyone know how the dry cell batteries are stored (or where they are stored) on the vehicle?
