Expansion plug
I’m working on my 1936 Chevy truck’s front axle. I took it apart to sand blast and paint it. The king pins and bushings were fine with no play. My problem is the expansion plugs are buggered up and need replaced. Apparently I was not the first to remove these and replaced them. Anyway getting back to my problem, I measured the hole and the plugs and found them to be 27/32 in.
I have googled them and found that Dorman made them, but I can’t find them. Does anyone know where I can get some expansion plugs without buying a king pin set? :embarrass |

Found some
I had checked with NAPA and was told that they had none in their region.
I double checked and found some on rock auto.com. |
