I though the economy was bad. Driving back up to Dallas on IH45 I spotted a Bentley, a Maseratti, and a Ferrari 599.

I was in LA the very week that the big "crisis" hit the news back in Oct. Lotus Elise are "economy cars" there. OH MY GOD, all around you at nearly every stop light there is a Ferrari or Bently. Going down the freeway there was literally five or six of these cars Lambos, Masarattis around us!

There are some people who truely not even touched by the economy.

Brian, that's the very reason I have a job yet. I work in a ultra high end window/door company which recently made a competitor a division of the whole company. This "sub" company caters to the 25,000 sq. ft. homeowners (that's not a typo....). Makes me dang proud of what I do at the home plant, but I still have to wonder how the people that buy our products got so much $$$$ in the first place. And I won't even get into why people need 25,000 ft. of living space....

I'm very interested to see the Barrett Jackson auction this year. I doubt you will see much effect but you never know. There are many people out there with no money problems whatsoever. Which I was one......

Same here. But I got a divorce, decided to "retire" to help take care of my mother w/ cancer, then lost a lot in Hurricane Katrina.
That took care of THOSE bank accounts REALLY quick!

Oh well. So life goes. We'll all get through it!

Look around and see what would be missing on the roads if those rules were still in effect....

That is the difference between the Haves & have nots.

Just because you see these cars on the road does not mean the people behind the wheel OWN THEM.

Chances are most of them are rented of on loan from someone.

Then consider that most of people who have their name on the title just Have great Credit.

I would make a EDuMaked guess that less than 5% to 1% of the fancy Chit you see is actually owned by the person Possessing it.

Some People are Rich then a few years later they are Money less ,again.

Some people are Wealthy they are the 5% to 1% that can spend what most people make in a life time ,on a whim with out consequence.





And yet the most wealthiest people on the planet are the ones who possess good health.
