Experience w/ AIM Industries Bags?

Hi all-

I'm a newb here, and have done some searches regarding this topic to no avail.

I was curious- has anyone had good/bad experiences w/ AIM industries air bag products?

I'm close to 'bagging my '53 Stude, and was considering going the Shockwave route via AirRide, but they are rather expensive (~$700/ea??!). I noticed a recent ad in Truckin' for airbagit.com, where they sell their version called the 'Air Wave' for $400 per PAIR! I know the old saying is 'you get what you pay for', but is it really worth the extra money to go for the AirRide products, and pay 3x as much? FWIW, from what I can tell, the AirRide 'Waves include the adjustable shocks, which I doubt the AIM versions do.

I do realize that AirRide has a better reputation, and I haven't heard anything negative about their components. Any insight here is appreciated! Thanks,

Patrick Lee

Avoid AIM

I have had bad experiences with AIM. They shipped the wrong stuff a couple of times and their products are poor quality.. For bags I would look into Slam Specialties.... They have the strongest bags on the market right now and are the most durable... I have used Slam bags in 2 of my vehicles and have had no problems...

Good luck man...
