Experienced tech, 1st major project.

Hello to all,
I am currently selling off assets and collecting junk to finance and piece together a 31 Ford Model A pick up rat rod. I have the front axle from a 49 GMC truck with all parts intact. and rolling stock. I have a 2000 Dodge Magnum 360 and a plan on how to improve on it. I want to use a auto trans and thought it best to get detailed plans and fab my own frame. I would greatly appreciate any and all input in regards to this project. Like most, I have limited finances and am a rookie but I have high regard for detail and love to do things the right way. I consider myself extremely mechanically inclined.
Thank you, Dennis

My best possible advice to you is to scroll down on this page and order Bob Hamilton's DVD. The man spills his very experienced brain on every aspect of building a '24 to '32 car from scratch over a 4 1/2 hour period for a measly 30 bucks...
