Sweet wheels there, Frank! Great looking car with a modern wheel that gives the "snowflake" vibe
Bigdog7373, this wheel ^^^^ is what you should be looking for, you almost had some but just missed getting there in time. |

I don't think some of you understand my goal with the car. I want a completely original look. Everyone keeps saying that certain rims "give a snowflake vibe", but i don't want a snowflake vibe. There are thousands of these cars with snowflake wheels out there. I don't want my car to be just another trans am clone with snowflake wheels. I want something completely new; i want to mix the best styles from the past with the best modern styles. I want it to have a lowered stance with large rims that fill the whole wheel well and skinny tires. I want to give it a blacked-out look in the front, and a sleek look from the side. I'm also thinking about removing some or all of the chrome around the windows to give a smooth look so the paint will seem to flow into the dark tint i want on the windows. I'm not worried about what the rims are gonna look like on the car as it sits now, i want rims that will go with the modern style that i'm going with, and the rims will most likely be painted or powder coated black sometime in the future anyway. Now, with that said, out of the last 3 rims that i have posted, i think the first two will go with the style i hope to achieve; now i have to decide which will look better. Thanks for all the help so far guys, you have given me a lot of ideas. I now know what style i'm going for, so any suggestions on how to achieve my goals with the car are very much appreciated.

I didn't like the double spoke rim until I seen it on the car.
Not bad. |

They will look totally different when on the car. They don't look to bad to me.
Besides it's your ride and i do look foward to see what you do decide on. Cole |

I think i'm gonna go see the 1st set, maybe put one on the car if the seller will let me. He only wants $280 for the rims with tires. The 2nd set is $350 but without tires. I personally think the first ones look awesome on the car.

Alright guys i think i'm gonna go with these:
I think they will look real nice cleaned up and polished a bit and will look good on the lowered car.If you think this is a bad choice please let me know and give some reasoning, not just "they're not snowflake vibe". Thanks for all your guys help, i think the car is gonna turn out great. Last edited by bigdog7373; 10-27-2010 at 07:02 PM. Reason: spelling |
