EZ boy rod interiors.

For 3 years I planned on using an EZ boy Rod interiors kit, emailed them to make shure a color was still available when they printed there mag and it was not listed/ shown, and it was still available, got a price quote for what I needed, quote of $1,638.65 for everything, I wanted there old basic kit for a 4dr, which they no longer sold but you could put the peices togther for the same price. I wanted there V8 styled seat covers/ door panals. sent for a catalog ( lost my old 1 ) and a verification of the price quote and to make shure they had everything still. get the catalog but no verification, in the catalog is a an update sheet stating that the V8, Nifty 50 and Tecline styles along with all special order fabrics ( leaving tweed and standard grade vinyl ) were discintinued, effective immediatly. these styles were $200 more than there standard styles and I look through the catalogs customer install pics, and all they show are the Nifty 50, V8 and the Tecline styles, it seems to me that these are the more popular styles. I could deal with there more standard looking 2 tone, with just 1 top ridge of an accent color, but If I'm spending the big bucks ( I'm 18 and work at a ski resort, $1,600 is about a half seasons pay ) I'd rather get what I want. do you think I could do any dealing with this company to get the v8 styled stuff? otherwise I'll find someplace else that will do the same thing, which there is nothing on the internet, I just saw a place just opening up fairly local that advertises vehicle interior's, like a DIY place.

Try calling Joel and speaking with him directly. He was very interested, at the time anyway, in delivering exactly what I wanted. I bought a complete interior and seat 3-4 years ago, they still were "working the bugs out". Bill

I'm not sure how long they had been in business when I made my order. I'd guess they hadn't done too many before mine. All in all, considering the price, I was pretty disappointed. They may be better now, I think Joel sounds pretty knowledgeable. I bought a Tea's seat for my latest project- first rate product. Bill
