f/p regulator mounting tech question ?

Will a fuel pressure regulator pass tech if it is just hanging by the lines, as-in not hard mounted? I see alot of pro stock cars running this way with no problems.?!?!? it cause fluctuations in pressure due to engine viberations when hard mounted

Can anyone clarify this for me?

Yes, it will pass tech that way, and they hang them for just the vibration reason you posted. Just don't have it near the bellhousing/firewall area in line with the flywheel's blast area if the wheel breaks, and not close near fan/pulleys/balancer.

thanks man, ive had alot of people argue till the death that it is no way safe or will it pass tech that way. everybody thinks they know everything about everything
