F1 steering box

2nd time trying to post 1st massage. Sorry if it ends up being a duplicate.
I own a 31 ford 5w high-boy. I've been a drag racer building my own cars for 25yrs but know little about the old stuff. I'm working on steering right now. I want this to look like a 50/60s daily driver hotrod. Going after the side exit shaft w/drag link type. Heard that the F1 box will work. What yr do i look for and are they strictly found in the trucks?

Look for '53-'56 Ford F100 steering box. The '56 is preferred.

Yes, they are pickup truck steering boxes.
