f100 drop spindles

i am trying to find drop spindles for a 1970 ford f100 and cant find any, is there a reason, i dont know anything about i beam suspensions?

Dropped Spindle

You can use a axle out of a bigger truck, like a F-400 which would give you I think around a 4" drop.

I have never did one on that new of truck and would check first, but on the older Fords thats what we would use.

You can have your axles rebent, but that will make them weaker and more prone to break.

No dropped spindles are made for beam axle.. Many fabricated axles are sold for these.

The spindles are not dropped the axle is, take a look at a f-400, when I first started in hot rods we would use f-400 axles all the time the ends go up about 4" if I remmber right.

This is how you do it. If you got the bucks, it is expensive but is the right way to do the job and keep everything in alignment. You might want to read up on the I beam suspension and the engineering involved. Not a bad idea, but will explain why this is the right way to go.
