f250 brakes

i have a 1997 ford f250HD diesel, and the rear drum brakes are wearing faster than the front disks. i have 75000 miles and have little wear on the ORIGINAL front pads, but i have already changed the rears at least once. why is this? i thought the front pads wear faster.

Cool

It sounds like your proportioning valve is faulty. It an easy replacement and not to expensive and is going to be safer and cheaper than replacing rear drums and shoes,
