F40 to LX9

Hey folks, new to the forum. I'm hoping someone can put me on the trail to the solution in mating the F40 6Spd manual tranny to an LX9 3500 V6. Specifically, what flywheel/clutch combination will do the job?

Thanks!

We don't do much with front drive at my shop, but I can tell you after reading the crib notes from wikipedia on the GM F40 6spd, the one you really really want is the 2007 G6 GT/saab unit and newer. It has better ratios and a better synchro assembly. I have no idea on mounting the LX9 (3500 series V6 - a derivative of the 3400 V6). However I would try to find out from the G6/ Cobalt community, what input length, spline count on the input, overall dimensions, track width (if you're putting it in a different platform), and the bellhousing mounting pattern you need for that engine. Also, depending on the shifter arrangement, you may have some issues with the console or lack thereof
