Factory Assembly Manual or Shop Manual?
I am working to restore/upgrade my 1952 Chevy 1/2 ton truck and was wondering which manual to get. Why would one be better over the other? Do I need both or would one of the two do the job?

Thanks for your help

Are you asking which is better, a factory manual verses a after-market manual? The factory manual is always a more accurate source of information on your specific vehicle. A after-market manual covers more than one year in a more general way.

Buy the shop manual, and use the old car manual project to reference the assembly manual. It's not really necessary but good reference, and it's free online.

Basically what I am looking for is a manual that will help me with making sure I am ordering the correct replacement parts for my truck (ie seals, wiring, etc), and will have diagrams for reassembly.

Old car manual project? Whats that referring to? Whats free online? And can you provide a link please
