Is this a fair price for interior work?
I have a 4 door 1965 Plymouth belvedere II that needs a complete new interior. Front seat, back seat, headliner, and door panels. Carpet is OK. Wanted it replaced as close to the stock fabric and vinyl as possible. Was quoted a price of $3500. Is this a fair price?

Yes, it's a fair price. The original fabric will be expensive, and that's a big part of the cost.
Here is a comparable interior which I did for $3000, but the customer paid for the fabric which he got from SMS. All the seats were re-padded, and all the door panels were re-done with PVC foam panel board. CLICK HERE |
Nothing is cheap any more. I'd get prices from a couple of other shops. Write down exactly what you want done and have them quote from your list. That;s the only way you'll know who is giving you the best price. Also take a look at the quality of the work they are doing while your there.

Hi Dan,
Hi just have to say,you do some fantastic work, wish i lived 1000 miles closer..........EXCEPT for the snow, ice and rust...

Thanks Bob, but I feel the same way about 100* heat, humidity, traffic jams, and "Palmetto bugs". Everywhere else they are called roaches.
