fan motor

I have a 2000 Grand Prix , my fan motor does not work on any speed. Also is it to be changed from the inside or off the fire wall.

I have a 99 grand prix. There should be a resistor in the circuit and if that goes bad it just creates infinite resistance. Check for that by seeing how much you have going into the resistor and how much you have coming out. As for the fan, you should have access from the inside of the car. GM crammed everythging into the engine bay and it would be quite difficult to change it from the firewall. The fan should be just under the passenger side dash.
