Dirty IAC would be a possible problem, very likely, also could be some vacuum leaks, like deteriorated hoses, or split hoses.
Try cleaning The IAC and the Throttle body first and see what you get. Make sure you buy a can of Throttle body cleaner and dont use carb cleaner or gum cutter etc.There is a coating on the throttle bore and those types of cleaners remove it. Use the correct cleaner. Chrysler has a throttle body cleaner that foams a little and does a nice job. I have also used wd-40 it is not too aggressive of a cleaner, so its safe. Use and old toothbrush to scrub with. |
