fans wiring (help)

I have a 84 G.M car with the one wire temp swich and im wondering how can I wire a toggle switch to make my electric fan come on.

At this point it my fan works--- if i ground out my wire,

BUT

how can I hook up a toggle switch to a ground wire?

HOW CAN I MAKE THIS WORK WITH A TOGGLE

would some body explain this to me, please

Hook the switch to the wire that you have for the sending unit. You can leave it hooked to the unit also.Then hook that to the switch. Take the other side of the switch and wire it to a ground.Voila manual fan control.

thank you all

so on a 2 terminal toggles switch:

1 toggle terminal to the sending unit wire and the other toggle terminal to a "ground"
