Yahoo's fantasy football leagues are starting is anyone interested in playing this year? I could get a hotrodders league going or something. unless someone has one already Id like to join

LOL..hell im too cheap to pay for it ..its a free game... Its the public league the premium leag is like $140 but you win some bucks This is all just for fun ...Maybe we can talk jon into sending the winner a t-shirt....hmmmmm

Weeeeelllllll....since this is a HR site, I will tell you what we used to do at work.2 things
1) Fantasy Nascar 'league' sort of confusing to start out but gets easier.Went by points,starting position,finish position,etc.
2) Nascar weekly race pool. 10 people tops,$10/week. Each player got to draw a # 0-9
#0 got car # 10,20,30,40
#1 got car # 1,11,21,31,41
etc
etc
etc.
Whatever car finished the race,the player with that number won the ca$h....If Earnhardt Jr won(#8) who ever had 8 won $100....very easy and very good chances to win money, I won several times last year.

I did the fantasy nascar thing last year...some weeks i did pretty good other weeks I did lousy... I just didnt follow nascar that much... Wanna try something tough... try fantasy hockey EVERY DAY you have to make changes. Theres a game just about everynight during hockey season... I played for about a week and fell so far behind...i had no chance of catching up

Ill try to Explain this as easy as possible Ill use football as an example some one else can jump in with any others
Basically you create your own team usind different players usually you have
1 QB
2-3 Wide Recievers
2-3 Running backs
2-3 tight ends
.....etc youll have 12 total players on your team all offence including a kicker all from different teams..
You get points for stuff they do IE: if your quarterback throws a TD you get 7 points. Kicker makes a PAT or field goal you get 1 or 3 points your RB's WR's TE's get points for TD's, Total yards your offence will lose points also for stuff like interceptions, fumbles loss of yards and sacks
You pick a defense also but not individual players a whole team like New england's defenseive line or denvers...anyone but its the whole team
Thev get points for sacks interceptions blocked field goals and the overall score of the game less than 10 points scored is big points for you ...etc....Its alot of fun all you have to do is log on and keep an eye on your players if they get hurt you put in a back up you can make trades..drop players..pick up new players..etc. Ill get a league set up its free..try it out..
