Fast 'n' Loud Discovery Channel
Has anyone heard of this show, Fast 'n' Loud? I have watched the first few episodes of it and the cars they have are pretty cool, like a early 50's gasser. It's about some place call Gas Monkey Garage. Thoughts?

I've seen a few episodes, they have shown some fairly neet cars. This week they had 50 Olds that had a great body, all they did was clear coat it, of course they messed it up with a create chevy 350 instead of rebuilding the olds original, but it was still a great looker. I think it's worth watching.

Here is a web site clik here where the Gas Monkey garage guy, Corky Coker and SEMA got involved in some shenanigans.
Jon of Hotrodders .com put that web site together. i suspect that Chilly Academic is doing some promotion on this new show is the reason that member joined

I saw it and didn't care for it. It's just one more crappy show that shoves the Discovery Channel further into the toilet.

That and the show with the car sales guy from Florida on the Velocity station. Sleaze balls, IMO. Probably good summer replacement fodder, if you just have to watch tv. I've watched a few of them, should have cleaned the bathroom instead. Same creepy feeling for me.

Fast and Loud is slightly better than some cheesy movie on the Lifetime channel, but that is about it.
As least Fast and Loud is not trying to sell me purple motor oil, yet. Given a choice between "Fast and Loud", and any rerun of British Top Gear, well, I am learning British, bloke!

I can only say that the show is more hype than substance.
I watched about 10 minutes of it recently and changed the channel. The whole Gas Monkey Garage deal is stoopid IMHO. Never liked the cars... or the attitude. It's a show for folks who don't know any better....

I watch it and laugh at it these guys would be fired if it wasn't a reality show if you saw the one with the modal A he said the modal A windows were not consistent in the years of the "As" production and he ordered the windshield 2 inches too big and his other glass ordered was too big to fit he gave the measurements him self! they also broke all the old glass out with hammers to save time (it could have been used as patterns) because it was all in good shape ! He had to reorder all new glass, He could have had the glass he ordered wrong cut to fit !!! Their hacks!! He also stated they were experts on Model A's ! How about the road test He couldn't make it around the track with the buyer in the car and almost flipped it in the parking lot!!!!! IF YOUR A SKILLED BUILDER ITS A GREAT COMEDY IF YOUR NOT SKILLED I SUPPOSE YOU WOULD BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAY AND THINK THEY ARE SKILLED sorry about the capitals I hit the lock!!!
 Ive seen all the shows so far and enjoy them! But for the wrong reason I see all their mistakes and danger-es behavior! And I laugh my A.O. Chris
